Visit Buda Gallery
In Buda Gallery, in the historic Buda district of Kortrijk, you can discover three abstract paintings by Yelena Bondarenko, alongside the work of other artists. Feel free to drop by and enjoy an inspiring art experience.
Three paintings, three stories
Yelena is showing three works from 2026. Each painting is a journey of its own: through silence, through mist and through time itself.

Through the Silence
Hazy oval shapes and layered horizons in cool blues, muted greys and warm ochres. Scratches and deep textures evoke a journey through silence and uncertainty, melancholic and hopeful at once. A work that leaves room for contemplation.
More about Through the Silence

Misty Crossing
A monumental arch forms the heart of this painting. Misty white, grey and warm copper lay an atmosphere of silence and mystery over the canvas. The arch becomes a passage between the known and the unknown, an invitation to look further.

Streams of Time
Flowing shapes and rougher textures in earth tones: brown, beige and green. Vertical strips suggest movement, as if hidden forces are awakening from the depths. A contemplative meditation on the fleeting beauty of our surroundings.
Come and see them with your own eyes and let yourself be carried away.
Save the date: 28 December 2026. During De 29e Kortrijk Feeëriek (Ergodôme walk, 27 and 28 December 2026), the walking route passes through or right next to Buda Gallery.
