The story
Behind a veil of blue and grey
rests a peak that will not show itself,
layered in silence, cool and wise,
a mountain breathing between maybes.
The light brushes softly along hidden ridges,
the relief tells what the mist conceals;
no fire, no storm, no fierce flames,
only the gaze that slowly climbs.
It is not the height that counts, but the waiting,
the distance you keep within,
a quiet strength on cool nights,
a summit that reveals itself only in stillness.
